It’s that lovely time in the planning of an international adventure when one must consider the plethora of diseases one could be exposed to in the adventure destination!  Oh Joy!  It takes much internal fortitude to stay in the chair and discuss all the ways that one could die in Thailand/Burma!  We have never lived our lives in fear of death, so we’ve decided that now is not the time to start.  We’ll take the shots and pills that seem absolutely necessary and trust God for the rest of our protection. Today was round two of Japanese Encephalitis and everyone did awesome!  Only a few sad faces and lots of bravery!  The astronomical cost of travel vaccinations is sure to kill us long before any tropical diseases can have their way!
