Here are some ways for you to pray for us. We will keep you up to date on which prayers have been answered.

Thailand…

Mae Sot…for the Burmese people that live in a constant state of transition and uncertainty

Bangkok…the headquarters of all things Imagine Thailand and the home of Passport Cafe

Takua Pa…for the Children’s Learning Center

Deep South…for community development to take place in an extremely violent area of Thailand.

The Team…our Thai, Burmese, and International team that makes Imagine Thailand what it is today and especially Peter and Cavelle Dove, our directors.

Koch Family…

~We have been amazed at how our skills from Canada have been useful in Thailand…we weren’t sure if that would be the case.  Now that we are home, pray that we continue to use those skills (and develop new ones!) to further the work of Imagine Thailand.

Finances…

~half of our personal finances are covered by Derek’s half-time role as Peachland Campus Pastor of  Emmanuel Church, but the other half will come from fund raising…pray that people catch the vision of our role in North America and choose to support us financially.  Our monthly budget (personal and operational) is $4200.00.  

Training…

~new skills are required in our roles as North American Representatives….presentations, proposal writing and increasing the network of Imagine Thailand supporters are new things for us.  

~  Derek is beginning a “Conflict Analysis and Management” Masters degree at Royal Roads Univeristy in Victoria this summer.
